Jeonghyun Lee
Hi There, my name is Jeong, from Korea (Rep. of, or South). I've been in the UK from 2018 for getting my master course at Bartlett (Construction Economics and Management) after graduation of 9-years-industrial experience in oil/gas/petrochemical industry in Hyundai Engineering and Construction.
It was a quite challenging experience for me to have an higher academic course after graduation of my bachelor degree long time ago, but I graduated successfully and have been working for UCL and Heathrow on behalf of Innovate UK as part of KTP Knowledge Transfer Partnership from Oct. 2019.
The reason why I have enrolled for this role is quite simple, to reduce 'failures' by putting sufficient amount of listening at the beginning. I know what failures mean since I also have failed many times in my lifetime. As a student rep. I would like to listen all of your voices clearly and forward these invaluable ones into the faculty and the school. Any issues are welcomed:

* Career-related issues: are you feeling tiered of submitting hundreds of applications?
* Minority-ethnics: are you feeling that there is any racism-related issue in your faculty?
* Academic-related issues: do you need any interviewees for your research but don't know where to find?

Any voices are welcomed and will not be underestimated as I know the power of voice and pens.

Thanks a ton, in advance.
Fei Yuan
It is my honour to become both Bartlett Faculty PGR Rep and Lead MPhil/PhD Program Rep for the last academic year. I would like to take this opportunity thanks to all PGR students, staff, and academic reps, thanks for all your trust and supports. I would not be able to finish my job as the reps without any of you. Last year, we had more studying and social spaces at the UCL Senate House Hub for PGR students. We had received better supports in researching and PGTA opportunities. We had been to the Escape Room, dinners, and pubs together as a community. Looking forward to the new academic year, it is full of challenges and uncertainties. I certainly feel my responsibility to continue my roles. I would continue to make sure your voice being heard, and act for the best interests of all PGR students. My top priority for this year is to make sure our community is "remote but not distant", ensuring your supports and feeling of belongingness as usual. I would also like to continue our previous plan in the following aspects, including but not limited to academic supports, PGTA benefits, spaces, and more social activities if possible. I have no doubt that we will achieve these goals together. I appreciate your time, and I look forward to working for you again.
Ecem Ergin
My name is Ecem Ergin. Currently a PhD candidate at the Architectural Space and Computation program, I am running for the position of Bartlett faculty representative for research students.
I have been one of the academic reps of my cohort since Nov 2019, and during my time in this role I have been the first point of contact between students and tutors.
This experience made me familiar with the problems within The Bartlett regarding equality, sustainability, and transparency. I intend to address these with a higher level of engagement to improve the student experience within the faculty.
Throughout my time as academic rep I have enjoyed the support of my peers. Therefore, I am confident that I can contribute to the ongoing debates as well as highlight the neglected issues and help making Bartlett a better place to study in.
He Xiao
I have a genuine commitment to act as a conduit between students and UCL, and make a positive contribution for students and the faculty. I'd like to proactively seek out students’ thoughts and opinions on their learning and research, to be the voice of students. Also, I'd like to communicate with the faculty about students' concerns to seek any positive changes for the development and enhancement of the academic experience in my faculty.

I have had an experience of studying at UCL. This may help students quickly adapt to and enjoy their campus life at UCL. Hope I could bring positive change for the education in my faculty and make life at UCL better for students.
Alberto Fernandez / Alberto Fernandez
Hi, I'm Alberto Fernández PhD Student at The Bartlett School of Architecture, and I want to be your student representative in this opportunity. I genuinely believe in changes that we must face in this challenging time, based on good communication and robust dialogue between each member of our community. In that sense, I have in my background being elected president of the young Chilean association of architects and board member of the same association years ago, and now I want to share that experience here at UCL, building a better community for all of us.
