Aleksandra Kaye / William Stewart
Hi, we are Will and Aleks and we are running to be your new Faculty Reps. Will brings to the team a wealth of experience and a broad knowledge base from years of government service and in education. Aleks brings good mediation skills and tireless dedication towards student representation. She was awarded Academic Rep of the Year 2020 in SHS for her work representing History students.

We are running for these 4 main reasons:

Empowerment – Students should feel that they can make positive change, now and for the future – within SHS and at UCL.

Advocacy – Good representation means not only standing in for but also standing next to and supporting.

Connection – Research at the best of times can be isolating. These are unusual times and connecting is now harder than ever. We will do our best to foster an inclusive community where we can all thrive.

Inclusivity – It is necessary to represent the different needs of our diverse students. Whether you are just starting your PhD or already writing up, if you are part-time or full-time, whether you are a Londoner or came to study here from afar, we want to ensure that you feel included.
