Fatma Kayran
Teaching is something that is incredibly valuable but also quite stressful in medical school. I would be the first to put my hands up and say that I find it, at times, really hard to try and learn what we are expected to learn. So I have always been incredibly grateful when others have provided me with clinical support. I hope to now take this role into my hands and do the same for my peers.

I think I am quite suited and dedicated for this role. I have been passionate about teaching for a long time, from begining my journey tutoring in sixth form to running a whole series of immunology lectures to first years this year. On top of this iver the years I have organised countless tutorials with my peers, working closely with anatomy and surgical society. If elected I hope to provide:

1. At least 1 mock OSCE for all year groups. Ideally I would hope ti do more than 1 OSCE tutorial for you all, hopefully making it a regular occurrence.
2. Regular tutorials for all year groups (every 2 weeks)
3. Set up a peer based tutorial system. This will involve me and other members in each year group preparing a part of the teaching e.g. a few SBAs or a patient case. The member who provides this will switch around each tutorial so that everyone has a chance to prepare and teach something in order to keep it fair. I hope in this in this way it will be useful in making content more memorable too.

Overall, I will work hard and I hope that I can provide some help to you all xx
