Why am I running for RMUSBC Treasurer? I could start with the classic "I love spreadsheets", which albeit true for any aspiring treasurers, there are many more reasons that make me the ideal candidate for the position. Being novice captain this year was morphed into more of an administrative role where I had to keep an account of and follow up the novices' memberships, pass on club communication/news and work very closely with the president and other committee members. At school I was the Student Council Treasurer. I believe these committee positions have given me a taste of what my future role as treasurer will be like, and I have all the qualities needed to do a good job; I am trustworthy (after all you trusted me with our fresh), I feel comfortable working with figures, I have experience in dealing with large amounts of money/budgeting, I have an eye for detail with an orderly mind and methodical way of thinking... oh and did I mention I LOVE well constructed and detailed spreadsheets?

I look forwards to helping the future RUMSBC Pres and Committee in next year's endeavour of getting the club rowing again, and keeping our accounts as positive as this year!

Hi I'm Vaish and I'm running for Treasurer this year. I believe I can use my experience as RUMS Treasurer to help me run the boat club finances and ensure that we're in a secure place next year.
