Telma Martins Viveiros
MSF embodies what inspired me to look for a career in medicine, to care for those suffering, the most vulnerable and often forgotten about. Through being part of the committee, I will be able to be part of their mission and help raise awareness for the work that is being done and the issues addressed, and hopefully, along the way, inspire other people.

The FoMSF bulletin is the best way to reach out to students and inform them of any opportunities or events happening and, as such, I would love to get involved in improving it. I propose that we add a contents table and include an events section with the dates listed for quick access. As a previous events office, I understand how difficult it can be to advertise events and therefore I am excited to work together with the members and help broaden their reach by actively advertising events through social media and the bulletin. Moreover, as I have had roles in other societies, such as the medical society, I feel confident working with other committees in order to creater even greater, joint events.

I believe that I am a responsible and organised person. I have been volunteering for both the Fun Team and Target Medicine for 3 years, both roles which required me to be prompt with messaging people and manage my time well. As a secretary, I hope to be a point of contact between FoMSF and students, answering questions, listening to opinions and, based on these, help guide improvement.
