Evie Worsnop
After joining Her Campus society at the beginning of this academic year, I have loved both the opportunity to be part of such a diverse community and the writing platform which it offers. Beginning as a freelance writer this year, I have sought and would love to continue to seek, further responsibilities within the society. I believe a higher committee position would not only allow me the chance to improve my own skills, but allow me to continue to learn from those around me in the process. One of the best aspects of Her Campus are the welcoming and skilled individuals who make up the society, and I hope to ensure that Her Campus continues its vital role as an open space for UCL students to share their perspectives. As a student on Comparative Literature, I would love the opportunity to engage even further with people’s writings, and to continue to learn from the diverse body of publications Her Campus offers. Though I have not held a society leadership role before, I am always eager to gain new experiences and opportunities, and would love the chance to gain valuable insights into the workings of this society while working alongside others in the Her Campus team. Being a part of Her Campus has been a hugely empowering experience for me, and I would love to help to continue its growth next academic year, ensuring more people are impacted by their involvement in this society in the same way that I was.
