Claudia Garcia
Hi everyone!
My name is Claudia and I was a blog writer for the Law for All Society last year. I learned a lot about a career in law and the city environment by doing research for my articles and attending LfA events. This year, I want to share with other people what I learned.
Having already been President of a Society, I have a good understanding of how the Student Union works and how to run a society, skills that would greatly assist me in supporting our president.
As treasurer, I would ensure the society's sponsorships with law firms that interest UCL students and give our members the opportunity to interact with them. In addition to these events and networking opportunities, I would support our members in their exploration of a career in law and their applications by providing resources and events with valuable advice. Finally, I would make sure that the society's finances remain healthy and that we use our resources to the best advantage of our members.
Hannah Vijfeijken
Hi, I’m Hannah van Vijfeijken and I’m a second year Psychology student. I’m running for Treasurer because I fully stand by the inclusive ethos of the Law for All Society, and I want to contribute to continuing its success. Thanks to my current position as Social Secretary, I have experience working in this committee, and found that I thoroughly enjoyed that experience. Prior to that, in secondary school, I acted as Student Body Vice President, where I practiced advocacy and honed my organisational skills. I look forward to hopefully applying these skills as Treasurer! Being Social Secretary allowed me to provide an inviting atmosphere for all our members, but next year I want to be a strong advocate for the Society as Treasurer.

This year, LfA saw its biggest growth ever in members. In cooperation with the President and the rest of the newly elected committee, I would love to capitalise on this growth. This includes celebrating LfA’s 10 year anniversary! As Treasurer, I would strive to be a true asset to the Society.
Anda-Raluca Epure
As a Mathematics and Economics student, I enjoy problem-solving activities and strategically managing given resources in the most efficient way. Being a treasurer in my Hall’s Association helped me understand how the financial resources should be assigned in order to support all the events and initiatives. Accustomed to the way of maintaining accurate reports and scheduling funds, I think that I could help the society achieve its goals and provide the members with an unforgettable experience. As a Treasurer, I would search for more sponsorship or maybe partnership so as the society can grow and take part in larger scale events. It would be amazing to contribute to the organization of the initiatives along with the President. I would also like to create more connections with other societies, so as the members can have more chances to extend their networking group, but also their knowledge in different related sectors. Finally, I would evaluate the current situation and think of creative solutions for growing, developing, in order to shape the society according to the members’ liking.
