Being involved with Live Music Society over the past two years has been such a joy: from print rooms, bloomsbury sessions, open mics and even rhapsody this year, I am so grateful for all of the opportunities I have been given to perform and to meet many amazing people within the society. This year, I would love the chance to get even more involved as the Marketing and Social Media Officer for the society. My passion for music notwithstanding, I am an experienced graphic designer. I am skilled at Canva, Photoshop, Procreate and Indesign. I am also currently the Creative Director for Kinesis Magazine and a graphic designer for Under the City Lights magazine by Rare fm. I am very excited to create fresh, eye-catching, modern and innovative promotions for society events that encourage new members to get involved and that reflect the exhilarating experience and spirit of the society. I am also eager to use social media as a tool to foster a larger community and increase engagement within the society. Most of all, I am ready to learn and very keen to get more involved. For these reasons, I sincerely hope you will vote for me as your new Marketing and Social Media Officer.

Marketing is an essential part of growing any society, and with my marketing experience, I wish to grow the UCL Live Music Society to its full potential!

As an artist charted in the Top 20 iTunes Pop Charts with 2 EP’s, I believe I would be a perfect fit for this role! Over the last 5 years, I have designed and released regular content and analysed social media analytics to grow my fanbase and reach my target audience. Furthermore, I have organised gigs in the past and handled the campaign, sound and marketing for my EP Launch Party.

As much as I love how the current society has managed social media, I think we could create more engaging content and regularly release it to reach a broader range of UCL Live Music Society - especially on Instagram! As a first-year student in society, I feel like I haven’t had enough information about Society events and opportunities. I would really like to change that by keeping society members regularly informed through emails and social media.

As a Marketing and Social Media Officer, I wish to bring out the best of UCL Live Music Society and share my marketing skills to reach its full potential!
