Navya Garg
My experience and my love for this field combine to make me an ideal candidate for this position. I have always been interested in healthcare, and I even chose to study Biochemistry at university. This role fascinates me because it deals with managing accounts and keeps the treasurer involved in all the new healthcare events at UCL. It is useful at this integral time of COVID-19 to understand the relevance of providing hands-on help to patients and giving them the care they really need. I have experience in data storage, excel and finance that I gained through a plethora of volunteering opportunities at various organisations such as Organ India, a trip to an Indian village and at Coachbright. There is a lot that needs exploration in the field of patient care, and this is our chance to initiate that by helping each other rise and contribute to this society. I wish to incorporate my learnings at school, university and beyond into this society, aiming to explore global medical prospects. It inspires us to be future leaders of tomorrow in our respective fields. If elected, I promise to fulfil the responsibilities that this role demands and encourage others to contribute to healthcare!
