The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. This year we have 70 runners taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon raising £2,300 each to help us continue our essential lifesaving work. We need volunteers like you to help support and cheer on our dedicated runners as they run 26 miles.

The London Marathon is London at it’s best. The excitement on the day is incredible. And you’ll be supporting and helping to raise money to help our courageous lifeboat crews and lifeguards save lives.

There are two types of volunteer roles, whether you want to cheer on our runners at our two cheering stations, or meet them at the end of their challenge by assisting them to the post-race reception, we would love your help!

RNLI Cheering Stations are situated at Canary Wharf and the Tower Lifeboat Station and the post-race reception is a short walk from St James’s Park. Volunteers are needed from 10am - 6pm (various shifts).
